The Patron serves as the spiritual mentor and advisor of the Christian Union, offering guidance, encouragement, and oversight in all matters. They link the fellowship with the institution’s administration, promote sound doctrine, and support the leaders in decision-making. Through prayer and mentorship, the Patron ensures the fellowship remains Christ-centered, united, and purpose-driven in its mission.
The CMF, a FOCUS Kenya staff, provides mentorship, discipleship, and leadership development within the fellowship. They guide the executive team in spiritual growth and ministry planning while ensuring doctrinal soundness. The CMF connects the fellowship with FOCUS Kenya’s wider vision, helping students mature in faith, character, and service through biblical teaching and ministry training.
The STEM staff serves as a missionary intern from FOCUS Kenya, dedicated to equipping students for impactful Christian service. They assist in discipleship programs, Bible studies, missions, and evangelism activities. By modeling servant leadership, the STEM worker nurtures spiritual growth among members, encourages ministry participation, and strengthens the overall effectiveness of the Christian Union.
The Chairperson provides strategic leadership for the Christian Union, overseeing all ministries and activities. They chair executive meetings, represent the fellowship at official functions, and foster unity among leaders and members. Through vision, prayer, and accountability, the Chairperson ensures discipline, teamwork, and spiritual growth, advancing the fellowship’s mission to serve God.
The Vice Chairperson 1 supports the Chairperson in leadership responsibilities and oversees the Men of Character ministry. They empower male members to pursue godliness, integrity, and leadership rooted in biblical values. By organizing mentorship and fellowship programs, they foster spiritual growth among men, encouraging them to be strong, humble, and dependable servants of Christ.
The Vice Chairperson 2 assists in leadership and directs the Daughters of Zion ministry, focusing on nurturing women in faith and character. They mentor female members, encourage purity, and foster sisterhood through teaching and fellowship. Their role strengthens women’s participation in ministry and ensures holistic growth in the spiritual and social life of the fellowship.
The Secretary handles administrative duties and ensures proper communication within the Christian Union. They record meeting minutes, manage official correspondence, and organize reports and schedules. Through orderliness and accountability, the Secretary maintains fellowship records and documentation, ensuring effective coordination of activities and smooth information flow between leaders, members, and external partners or institutions.
The Treasurer is responsible for managing the fellowship’s finances with transparency and integrity. They collect and record contributions, prepare budgets, and present financial reports to the executive and members. Through proper stewardship, they ensure accountability in resource use, promote faithful giving, and support ministry operations by aligning financial management with biblical and institutional principles.
The Ushering Coordinator ensures order, hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere during services and events. They organize ushering teams, guide visitors, and maintain cleanliness in worship spaces. Their ministry reflects Christ’s love through service, helping members and guests experience comfort and orderliness that glorify God and promote meaningful fellowship during all gatherings and meetings.
The Choir Coordinator leads the worship and music ministry, guiding the choir in preparing songs that glorify God. They organize rehearsals, train members, and promote spiritual growth through worship. By encouraging excellence and unity, they ensure music supports the preaching of the Word, inspires believers, and uplifts the congregation during fellowships, events, and missions.
The Missions and Evangelism Coordinator leads outreach and soul-winning initiatives within and beyond the campus. They organize missions, crusades, and evangelism trainings to equip members as witnesses of Christ. Through strategic planning and partnerships, they nurture a passion for evangelism, ensuring that the fellowship remains committed to fulfilling the Great Commission faithfully and effectively.
The Intercessory Coordinator leads and nurtures the fellowship’s prayer life, ensuring every activity is rooted in prayer and dependence on God. They organize prayer meetings, vigils, and chains, interceding for members, leaders, and the institution. By encouraging a culture of prayer and fasting, they strengthen spiritual sensitivity, unity, and revival within the Christian Union community.
The Bible Study and Discipleship Coordinator strengthens members’ spiritual growth through the Word. They organize small group studies, prepare materials, and mentor leaders for effective teaching. Their role fosters biblical understanding, accountability, and community among believers, helping members live out their faith practically while growing in knowledge, maturity, and obedience to Christ’s teachings.
The Music Coordinator oversees all musical activities within the fellowship, ensuring worship is spiritually uplifting and well-organized. They train and guide instrumentalists and vocalists, plan worship sessions, and coordinate with the choir team. Through creativity and discipline, they promote excellence in music that glorifies God, enriches worship experiences, and inspires believers toward deeper communion with Christ
