The Christian Union at South Eastern Kenya University Main Campus forms a cohesive student community, bound by a shared faith in the only God and responding to the divine summons of Christ outlined in the Holy Bible. Our dedication is to remain apolitical, interdenominational, voluntary, and impartial, ensuring alignment with the teachings of the Holy Scriptures.

Our Objectives
Leadership Development
Developing members of the union in their social and leadership skills.
Discipleship
Challenging and deepening the faith of members by teaching, prayers, bible study, and worship. Encouraging members to present Jesus Christ to others.
Evangelism
Sensitizing members to mission work, proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ, and living a life consistent with the gospel.
Statement of Faith
Presenting Jesus Christ as Savior, Lord, and God to every student, aiming to lead them to a personal faith in Him.
Doctrinal Basis
The doctrinal basis of the union shall be the fundamental truths of Christianity including the following:
- Faith in the unity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in the Godhead.
- The sovereignty of the Holy Scriptures as originally given, and its supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
- The universal sinfulness and guilt of all men since the fall, rendering them subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.
- Redemption from the penalty, dominion, and pollution of sin, solely through the sacrificial death, resurrection, and ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ and his high priestly ministry.
- The bodily resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead and His ascension to the right hand of God the Father.
- The person, presence, and power of the Holy Spirit in the work of regeneration.
- Justification of the sinner by the grace of God through faith alone.
- The indwelling and work of the Holy Spirit for sanctification and glorification of every believer.
- The holy universal church as the body of Christ unto which all true believers belong.
- The unity of believers in the body of Christ without discrimination on the account of race, tribe, social status, or gender.
- The expectation of the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
